Booking Window
Booking is available no sooner than 3-4 weeks in advance.
Payments/Late Fee
Payments are initiated through invoicing. Tips are accepted via all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App.
Starting 2/1/24, any non refundable deposit that is not paid within 24 hr window of sent invoice, will inquire an additional one time $50 late fee. This is will be updated and added to the invoice.
Cancellations
Deposits are nonrefundable. Events can be rescheduled up to a year from the booking date with original deposit.
Travel
A travel fee is added if the event is located outside of DMV. This fee will be added and due at time of booking the non refundable deposit. This fee is also non refundable. This is discussed via email with contract.
Items provided
Melanin Mixin only provides bar items, drink garnishes, cups, and cleaning items for bar use only. Alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, and cleaning items for the event must be provided by the host.
Deposit
50% nonrefundable deposit due at time of booking. The remaining balance is due 1 week before the event.
Set-Up/Break-Down
1 hour is needed before and after the event for set-up and break-down. Break-down begins 30 minutes prior to end of the event.
